QC Executive

Job Responsibilities

 

• To ensure the quality of incoming raw materials.

 

• To ensure the quality of the finished product.

 

• To be present at all trial mix sessions at the plant.

 

• To ensure all trial mixes are carried out accordingly and test reports within a day after testing.

 

• To liaise closely with customer for any complaint and ensure these are settled within 3 working days.

 

• To ensure sand samples are collected at least twice weekly for ISO plants and once weekly for non-ISO plants.

 

• To make regular visits to the plants to ensure that all mix designs at the plants are as per Concrete Mix Design Summary.

 

• Ensure compliance requirements are met through organizational and procedural measures including implementation of Group guidelines, performing trainings, monitoring compliance etc.

 

• Proactively manage health & safety of employees to continuously improve the company's health & safety performance.

 

• Management and ownership of health, safety and environment policy and site HSE objectives.

 

• Management and ownership of processes and culture within operation by identifying workplace hazards, minimizing identified HSE risk with adequately control of the hazards to achieve zero harm with continual improvement in consultation with HSE Department.

 

• In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required.

 

 

 

Job Requirements

 

• Minimum Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Material Science/Mineral Resources Engineering or equivalent.

 

• At least 1-2 years of working experience in QC.

 

• Must be hands-on Quality Control experience and highly independent, self-motivated individual.

 

• Able to prepare QC related presentation material.

 

• Good communication skill in English and Bahasa Malaysia (in writing & orally).

 

• Excellent analytical skills.
