HR Executive
Responsibilities
Recruitment (Non - management category)
- Ensure all Staff Requisitions are approved by the relevant departments / Managers.
- Liaise with Recruitment Agencies regarding matters pertaining to permanent and temporary employment
- Ensure that all vacancies are advertise internally or externally via online or physical platform as necessary
- Administration and preparation of all employee’s related to employment contracts, certification letters, promotions, transfers, acceptance of resignation etc. for all regions as well as the letters for Pre-Employment Medical Check-up & opening of Savings Account letters.
- Handle onboarding processes including document collection.
- Administration and preparation of all employee’s related communications not limited to employment contracts, certification letters, promotions, transfers, acceptance of resignation etc.
- Liaise with all region admin personnel on HR / employee matters
- Assist in preparing all documentation required for the application of employment for foreign workers.
- Maintain employee’s files, records, and data regularly, systematically, and accurately.
- Responsible to prepare monthly HR reports.
- Ensure compliance requirements are met through organizational and procedural measures including implementation of Group guidelines, performing trainings, monitoring compliance etc.
Internal Communication
- Nominated as Heidelberg Materials Malaysia internal communication representative and be part of Asia Communications Squad
- Responsible to be the content seekers to identify story opportunity and develop key messages to spotlight and campaigns in our UNITE intranet and VIVA Engage platforms
- On-going feedback and reporting on impact on these activities
- Proactively manage health & safety of employees to continuously improve the company's health & safety performance.
- In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Human Resource Management or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of working experience in HR or its equivalent.
- Familiarity with employment regulations, and HR documentation procedures.
- Experience working with HRIS system, preferably Workday/SAP
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling confidential data.
- Ability to work well under minimal supervision and in a team environment.
- Willing to travel to sites offices/plants around Malaysia as required.
