Heidelberg Materials Malaysia Recognized by SIRIM QAS International

Heidelberg Materials Malaysia (Hanson Building Materials Malaysia Sdn Bhd) is pleased to announce its continued achievement in maintaining certification with SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd for the period of 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024. During this certification cycle, HM Malaysia successfully obtained both the Eco Label Certification and Product Certification, underscoring the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility and consistently high product quality.

A total of 11 HM Concrete plants across Malaysia were recognized for meeting the stringent requirements set by SIRIM QAS International. This accomplishment reflects the company’s ongoing dedication to operational excellence and sustainable practices throughout its operations.

In conjunction with the certification, representatives from Heidelberg Materials Malaysia attended the Majlis SIRIM Industri 2025. During the event, Ts. Md Adha Rahmat, Chief Executive Officer of SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd, and YBhg. Datuk Bahria binti Mohd Tamil, Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Investment, Trade & Investment Malaysia, presented the Certificate of Appreciation to Ms. Cathy Tong and En. Nazmi Naim on behalf of the company.
